Job Overview
In Blue Zinc product line, we have a need to onboard a QA Automation engineer to existing ecosystem of applications and a highly skilled and enthusiastic technical and commercial team to produce a friendly and innovative products and services for our clients. This is a key role for the company requiring attention to detail and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be strongly motivated, with excellent team skills and a good communicator.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Quality Engineering
- To assist in the preparation of test plans and test scripts
- Creation or update of regression test packs and test scripts
- Preparation, creation and maintenance of automation test suite
- To provide feedback to the development team and ensure work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently
- Bug investigations and accurate detailed logging of tickets
Client Software Deployment
- Creation of the release test strategy with clearly defined entry/exit criteria
- Creation of Tickets for new/updated features as needed though development
- To ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained though to software release
Required skills and Experience
- HND/Degree in an IT related discipline
- ISTQB Foundation cert
- 2+ Years Testing/QA Experience
- 1+ year Java/Javascript based Automation experience
- Experience documenting user issues clearly and accurately
- Experience taking ownership of an issue and driving a resolution
- Working knowledge of Operating Systems and associated technologies, on such platforms as Mac, Linux, iOS and Android
- Experience with Playwright Automation Library
Desired skills & experience
- Experience using an issue/defect tracking system
- Experience using a test case management system
- Experience using build and deployment tools (GIT/Pipelines etc)
- Experience tracking quality assurance metrics, such as open defect counts and trends
- Up-to-date knowledge of new testing tools and test strategies
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Experience liaising with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Experience reviewing design specifications and technical design documents
- Good Communication skills (Written and Oral)
