QA Automation Engineer – Cloud & Mobile Platforms

ClearCourse Field Services provides leading software platforms for mobile workers and garage services across the UK and beyond. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to help us build and maintain test plans for our cloud-based products — ensuring quality, reliability, and scalability as we expand.

You’ll collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to design, automate, and execute tests using modern tools and best practices in TDD and BDD.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines

  • Work with tools such as SpecFlow, Postman, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Swagger, and Jira

  • Drive high-quality testing across microservices and REST APIs

  • Contribute to both automated and exploratory testing to ensure robust product delivery

  • Advocate for best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a QA Automation Engineer in a modern software environment

  • Strong BDD/TDD experience and a passion for automation over manual testing

  • Solid knowledge of REST APIs, CI/CD, and SQL/NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with SpecFlow and agile environments (Kanban)

  • Experience with Git-based version control (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket)

 

Nice to have:
Payments or PCI DSS experience, and exposure to AWS or Azure.
