About Fetchify

We develop high-performance web applications and APIs that power address validation, data cleansing, and eCommerce data services. As part of a growing suite of data intelligence tools, our technology is used by thousands of businesses across the UK and beyond.

We're now looking for a mid-level developer with strong PHP and Vue.js skills to join our engineering team. If you enjoy building scalable APIs, clean UIs, and efficient backend systems — and want to be part of a product-led team — this role is for you.

 

 

Your Role

  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs in PHP

  • Develop responsive front-end components with Vue.js

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on new features and integrations

  • Ensure high standards of security, performance, and scalability

  • Integrate third-party APIs (e.g. Royal Mail, eCommerce/CRM platforms)

  • Review code, participate in testing, and help resolve bugs

  • Optimise MySQL queries and backend data flow

  • Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes

 

 

Tech Stack

  • Languages: PHP, JavaScript (ES6+)

  • Frontend: Vue.js

  • Databases: MySQL

  • APIs: RESTful services, 3rd-party integrations

  • Tools: Git, GitHub, Docker, AWS

  • Dev Process: Agile, GitLab (tickets), CI/CD pipelines

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience with PHP and Vue.js

  • Good understanding of API development and integration

  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming, SQL optimisation, and secure coding practices

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and open to continuous learning

 

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with eCommerce systems or CRM platforms

  • Knowledge of containerisation (Docker), AWS infrastructure

  • Previous exposure to address/data validation tools
