We are looking for a Product Manager, who is dedicated to making a difference in the Field Service Industry, someone who can be the conduit between our clients, the delivery team, and our developers. You will be comfortable talking technical when needed, but also really understand what our clients need and translate this into a strategy for our Product.

Reporting to the Product Director, you will be able to take input from senior management and help create the strategy and roadmap that brings our ideas to life. You will be happy working on prototypes, writing specifications and giving feedback during review sessions. You will be responsible for delivery of the roadmap and reporting to management on progress.

 

In your career, you will have been involved in projects where you have influenced product design, modelling, and developing products or web sites from conception to execution. You will have a thorough understanding of what makes software excellent, and how to reimagine existing products to make them stand out in the market.

Desirable experience/charactersitics :

 

  • Product Management experience, demonstrable example of owning roadmap and delivery. 

  • Ability to think creatively, and to drive products and services forward with concepts and ideas 

  • Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly, and act as an ambassador for the product. 

  • An ability to work closely with developers, and to interpret requirements from business-focused teams. 

  • Awareness of development frameworks 

  • A strong understanding of basic UX approaches 

  • Understand, and be able to communicate, technical trade-offs, making sure all stakeholders are on board. 

  • Knowledge of product life cycles, from conception through to end-of-life. 

  • A solid understanding of development roadmap, and basic project management skills to maintain an oversight of activity 

  • Ability to work independently, while also contributing to team goals, and supporting team members working on projects with you.
