We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant (R2R) to join our growing finance team at ClearCourse. Working alongside our Senior R2R Accountants, you’ll play a vital role in month-end close, cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial reporting across several businesses.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Execute monthly close processes for 1–2 business entities in line with ClearCourse governance and Group deadlines

  • Prepare and manage bi-weekly cash flow forecasts for review

  • Handle balance sheet reconciliations and review discrepancies

  • Perform bank account reconciliations weekly and resolve outstanding items

  • Liaise with other SSC teams and business leaders to understand business performance and key transactions

  • Respond to audit queries and prepare documentation as required

  • Assist with ad hoc reporting, providing insights and financial data to support the wider business

  • Identify and implement process improvements with support from the R2R Process Lead

  • Collaborate with the Senior R2R Accountant on key issues and risks across your entities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  • Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite desirable)

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

  • Good understanding of core accounting principles

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in a multi-business environment is highly desirable

  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills

  • Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
