TISSL is a market leading Technology Company providing their own POS solutions to a wide range of hospitality businesses, predominantly restaurants and used extensively in fine dining. TISSL supplies 33% of the UK’s Michelin starred restaurants.

 

We are looking for ambitious experienced salespeople with a good track record of selling technology solutions and ideally in the hospitality sector.

 

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be required to develop an in-depth understanding of the hospitality sector, the key requirements, and the subsequent benefits our solution can offer. You should be able to clearly identify how product features translate into benefits for the customer.

 

The role will be targeted on new business. BDMs will be expected to maintain long term relationships with their customers and ensure they are operating effectively using the TISSL POS solution.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Achieve/ exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Provide a 'Hunter' instinct and determination to self-generate your own opportunities.
  • Gain awareness and knowledge of our full product set and be able to talk and demonstrate them comfortably as well as identify and communicate the unique benefits for each individual customer
  • Visit businesses for live product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Manage the process and relationship every step of the way utilising CRM software
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified, active opportunities and manage them to closure.
  • Report accurately on the sales pipeline to relevant people in the business.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support new business and existing account growth

 

Required skills and Experience

 

  • Previous experience and good track record of success in a customer facing sales role.
  • Knowledge of EPOS or Hospitality industry experience is essential.
  • SaaS and/or technology sales experience is essential.

 

Desired skills & experience

 

  • Capability to capture requirements and demonstrate the software’s ability to meet them.
  • Ability to produce good proposal documentation and presentations.

  • Ability to maintain a pleasant manner and calm disposition in difficult situations.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
