We are seeking a Junior Technical Consultant to join our team supporting the Swan Retail product, based in Waterlooville. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in software implementations and project delivery, especially if you have experience in retail, hospitality, or technology. You will support the delivery of software implementations, customer training, data management, and project coordination. Working alongside experienced project managers and technical teams, you will help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office (Monday – Friday).
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support and deliver implementations and deployments across both Swan and Epos Bureau products
- Assist with implementations of products such as Customer Ordering App, E-Loyalty App, Swan Mobile, TRIMSm, Omnisend, BalancePay, and Cymba
- Deliver tasks to enable fast and efficient set-up of customer requirements
- Assist project managers with planning, coordinating, and managing implementations and customer training
- Deliver/host customer training on software modules and consultations on specific programs
- Maintain and manage training documentation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Interpret customer requirements and communicate effectively to the internal team
- Identify and escalate potential risks to project managers in a timely manner
- Support customers with data creation, build, and installation as per project requirements
- Work closely with Product Managers, Development, Support, Account Management, Project Management, and Implementation teams
What We're Looking For:
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management and prioritisation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with challenging objectives
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external teams
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or software implementation environments
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements
- Experience delivering software training, support, or implementation
- Familiarity with project operational processes
- Prince 2 Foundation qualification is advantageous
