Business Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to take a strategic, revenue-driving role in the continued growth of Rezcontrol. As we enter an exciting phase of expansion, you will take full ownership of your sales pipeline, shape and execute new go-to-market initiatives and collaborate closely with our central GTM department to accelerate our presence in the hospitality technology sector. This is a senior, high-impact role with the autonomy to influence both commercial performance and wider business strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Proactively drive new business growth by identifying, targeting, and converting opportunities through outbound outreach, social selling, networking, and industry events.
- Own and manage your workload with a disciplined approach to prioritisation, ensuring consistent pipeline health and strong progression through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies, introducing new approaches to market penetration, campaign effectiveness, and revenue acceleration.
- Take full responsibility for your sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting, ongoing optimisation, and driving up the monthly volume of closed deals.
- Conduct advanced consultative sales cycles, uncovering client needs, mapping solutions, handling complex objections, and guiding prospects confidently to close.
- Deliver impactful product demonstrations (remote and occasional onsite) tailored to operational and commercial decision-makers.
- Work closely with the central GTM team, ensuring alignment on messaging, sharing market insight, and collaborating on targeted campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Act as a senior ambassador for the Rezcontrol brand, elevating our profile within the hospitality sector and strengthening our competitive positioning.
- Feed field intelligence back into the business, providing insights that influence product direction, pricing, competitor positioning, and future commercial strategy.
Required Skills and Experience
- A proven track record of high performance as a Senior BDM, Senior AE, or equivalent in SaaS, hospitality technology, or a related commercial environment.
- Demonstrable success in consistently exceeding revenue targets, managing complex sales cycles, and closing mid- to high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality sector, ideally with previous experience in hotels, PMS, or associated software solutions.
- Excellent workload and pipeline management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining momentum and accuracy.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, or product teams to support strategic campaigns and influence commercial direction.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers with confidence.
- High technological fluency and the ability to quickly learn and champion new software and tools.
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortably remote-first while maintaining strong communication and alignment with the wider team.
