The role

• Architect and develop software across multiple live products -- you are a contributor, not just a reviewer
• Lead, hire and develop a team of 7-10 .NET developers
• Own our .NET Centre of Excellence -- set coding standards and design principles for the entire division
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and testing strategy
• Work directly with clients on product direction
• Contribute to hiring decisions, budget planning and long-term tech strategy

You'll need

• 2+ years leading or managing a software engineering team
• 5+ years in C# and .NET
• Experience as a hiring manager -- you have run recruitment end-to-end
• Frontend skills: TypeScript, Angular or React
• Azure App Services and Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, branching)
• SQL Server and/or NoSQL database experience
• Microservices and client-server architecture experience
• Domain-driven design and SaaS background
• Agile environment experience (Scrum or Kanban)
• Strong written and spoken English

Bonus points

• Cross-platform development (iOS, Android, Windows, Linux)
• Microsoft Playwright
• Payment systems experience
