Technical Business Analyst

Are you a Technical Business Analyst looking for your next challenge? 

Do you have a minimum of 3-5 years of Technical Business Analyst experience in a software development environment for an API-based product?

Do you have experience working in Card Payments and\or Direct Debits?

 

 

A typical day to name a few would be to create EPICs and Stories that describe the functional requirements of new products and features. You’ll support Product Managers and development teams with Requirements Analysis. You’ll create ‘’Feature Files’’ that describe features in GIVEN, WHEN, THEN format. You’ll work with stakeholders to document relevant business processes to describe impacts and changes driven by product development.

 

 

Required skills and experience:

 

  • Breaking down high level product overview documents into deliverable INVEST stories

  • Translating User Stories into GIVEN, WHEN, THEN “Feature Files”

  • Ability to translate complex scenarios into visual format e.g. process flows, mind maps, sequence diagrams, other collateral the team may need to communicate requirements

  • First hand experience of working with API based products and features

  • Use of tools such as Postman or Swagger to observe behaviour of APIs

  • Technical awareness and experience of a micro service architected platform

  • Experience of working in an Agile software development environment

  • Experience of working in Card Payments and\or Direct Debits

  • 3-5 years of Technical Business Analyst experience in a software development environment for an API based product
